Echo Eindhoven was founded in 2016 by Leonie van Leeuwen-van Loon, in collaboration with Lichtstad Verloskundigen and Viamama Verloskunde.
I have been working as a regular observer in this practice since 2010. In 2006 I graduated as a midwife at the Academy of Obstetrics in Maastricht. In 2009 I got my echo specialization. I was able to complete this in 2014 with a diploma for making gynecological ultrasounds and in 2017 with the diploma for making 20 weeks ultrasound. In the past 14 years I have accompanied countless pregnant women and their partners in their journey through pregnancy, childbirth and the first period with their baby. I have an inexhaustible interest in the most beautiful wonder that life has to offer. I myself have also experienced the happiness of being a mother. My husband and i have four kids, Bram (2013), Max (2015) and the twins Emma and Lars (2020).
From October 2018, Lisette Vermeulen will also work at Echo Eindhoven. She introduces herself to you:
My name is Lisette Vermeulen, together with my husband and our 3 children Joris (2009), Saar (2011) and Jet (2014) I live in the beautiful Land van Maas en Waal. In 2003 I graduated as a midwife, after which I worked for 12 years in Zaltbommel and the surrounding area. I am no longer practicing as a midwife and I have fully focused on the ultrasounds.
Since October 2018 I have been working with great pleasure together with Leonie at Echo Eindhoven, where I make both medical and fun ultrasounds. In addition, I place spirals and I perform aortic measurements, the AAA Quickscan.
It remains special to be able to contribute to the special process of a pregnancy. I look forward to meeting you and admiring your baby together.
